$ESSENCE is a non-tradeable fungible token that has the following properties:

1. Can be locked in the respective players’ DAO Reactor:

   • When locked, $ESSENCE cannot be unstaked

2. Can be used to craft or purchase NFTs:

   • Certain NFTs can be locked in the Reactor to boost its efficiency

   • When locked, these NFTs cannot be unstaked

   • Some NFTs serve as recipes for other NFTs

3. Translate to an indirect measure of reputation by playing the game as intended

The current kinds of stakeable NFTs are:

• Essence Shards

• Essence Conduits

• Essence Rods
