# The Disciples of Cataclysm

**The** **Disciples of Cataclysm** are an extremist group of people that pledge allegiance to the dark gods. They might have been originally part of ‘[**The Conglomerate**](/mothora/set-and-setting/factions/the-conglomerate.md)’ or **‘**[**The Thoroks**](/mothora/set-and-setting/factions/the-thoroks.md)**’**, but they were corrupted. 

They know alien beings and believe in the Great Cataclysm that one day will change Mothora forever. Since The Disciples of Cataclysm is made up of former members of both the Thoroks and Conglomerate, they have a mishmash of some of the older technologies from the Conglomerate, and some forbidden knowledge of magic from the Thoroks. The Disciples of Cataclysm can bend this knowledge of magic to their will, to create their form of dark magic.
