The Decentralized Organizations (DAOs)

Three secret organisations evolved from the factions in Mothora. War is now amongst them and those who were once enemies are now friends. Welcome to the future.

Many were not happy with the Wartime Comercial Policy. While the promise of profit maximization from continued trade between factions was good, most of the members of the Thoroks, DoC and Conglomerate were not supportive of their centralized leaders, which took the majority of the profits to themselves.

This meant that over the years after the war, around 2470, three secret organizations started to appear under the shadows of black markets in Dormgard and other desert outposts, that operated as decentralized groups of soldiers and traders from each of the three factions. Those who were once enemies started to become friends - and those who were in power in the factions started to tremble, facing the mighty numbers in these allied para-faction groups. The names of these DAOs are:

• Shadow Council

• Eclipse Horizon

• The Federation

The members of these DAOs sought to put their differences in faction and race aside in Mothora with one goal: give back all sourcing and trade of $ESSENCE in Mothora to their members, by any means necessary. Their decentralized ways of working meant they weren't prone to the weaknesses of centralized hiveminds of the factions. And quickly this proved to be the most effective method of operating in Mothora at the expense of new conflicts and fights.

These organizations grew so powerful that the three factions lost their centralized control and entered a new era of liberty, cooperation but also competition. And competition meant war, which never changes. The once rogue black market traders and soldiers of the shadow organizations eventually divided Dormgard into 3 parts. Each of the areas is for each organization, completely segregated from the others by an indestructible shield.

The banding of the three factions in these three independent organizations created unique mixes of technology. Never before possible technological feats were now a reality, with the combination of centuries of research done in each of the factions. This meant new pathways on how could $ESSENCE be sourced, traded, and used, for the benefit of all.

The pinnacle of innovation was the creation of the $ESSENCE Reactors. The ultimate source of the magical power from Mothora to all the organizations, readying them to a bountiful future.
